Well its official , I think that Cedric has flown the coop. I guess he has enough of this shit hole after a week and decided to make a run for it. Ever since I moved from the tents to the PCBs I have not been able to locate the little fella. I searched everywhere he could possibly be with no luck of finding him.

Today was Emma's 5 Th Birthday. Since I couldn't be there, I wanted to make sure she knew I was thinking about her. I made a sign for her and took some pictures with my co-workers.

We use an enormous amount of plastic water bottles everyday! And I like to make sure that they get recycled! There isn't much I can do to help the environment while I am here. Well not anything that is to obvious anyway. So every Sunday , I am having myself and the two soldiers that work for me are going to use half the day to do research online, of ways that we can help improve the environment . I'll post again after our first Sunday ! I did manage to buy something "green" before I left to come here. I got a shower bag made of recycled soda and water bottles. Emma picked it out, out of 3 other similar choices. This one though unlike the others was not made in China, and Emma said that is why she picked it! That's my girl!

Here are some pictures of the lovely office I will be working at for the next year or so. Right when you walk in the front door to the trailer that's where I am at! I am still trying to make it some what homey and comfortable and its on its way!

So how this just doesn't feel right, but we have a full fledged Star Bucks here on base! Leather couches , WiFi and all. So last night I enjoyed a Mocha Frapp with my pops the First Sergeant. The only sucky thing about this Star Bucks here is that they don't accept Star Bucks Gift cards. Whats up with that! Now I just need my BNCOC Buds to go to the Bucks with! We had daily trips there and its kind of sad, lol .

More adventures in the travels of Cedric the Gnome........... He took a 16 hour trip with me on the way to the Middle East. Here is Cedric getting comfy on the plane, for the first 8 hour leg on the trip. We stopped in Germany, but Cedric was still passed out so he didn't come in to the airport with us. But we got some interesting pictures inside the airport. The first in the toilet with a huge push button to flush it. We've arrived at our destination! Amy and I were well rested from the ride! Chaser and Cedric decide to come out and enjoy some sun, sand and hajee water!
