I am now back at Fort Dix waiting to get on a plane to get to the desert. It's classified info on what day were are leaving so the First Sergeant isn't allowed to tell us. They are letting us relax and not making us do anything so Cedric and I took an adventure to an old tank on base here.

About two weeks ago while my unit was still at Fort Dix, we had to do mounted IED training. We road around in a convoy and had to look for and react for IEDs. I was in he humvee with two officers so I got to be he gunner. We have no crew served weapons so. I had to simulate with my M16, there I'am below all geared up and it was about 90 degrees out.

It's been almost a month since my last post. I was in New Jersey doing some FOBtastic Army training and did not bring my laptop along. We are now back in Connecticut at Guantanamo Bay, Niantic . Well its really at one of the Camps in the state that is 15 minutes away from my house and we are not allowed to go home, drive in POVs or wear civilian clothes! We have about two and a half weeks until we leave for country and I wish we would just go! The crazy thing is, is that when we get there we are allowed to wear civilian clothes off duty when we aren't working! I'm not sure how much I am going to be able to post on here while I am gone. The wireless Internet access is very slow and this site is blocked from government computers . I'll try though.
